Frequenlty Asked Questions
Where do I start?
This is the toughest part. Getting started. Shoot me a message. Just reach out! I don't know you're interested or need help unless you tell me you do. There's a lot of information out there in the world and sometimes it's easy to get bogged down in all the choices. So let's chat and see what's the best thing for YOU.

What's the differences with your services?
I have two different kinds of services: Programs and Personalization.
The programs are researched and results-driven workouts. These workout programs last anywhere from 5 weeks to 6 months. They can be purchased from the "Fitness Programs" section and are one time purchases where you will receive an invite to my app where you will have automated updates on a personal calendar of the program.
The personalization is the ability to download my personal app, get customized workouts, nutrition, and programming from me, that you can edit, update and log information of the workouts directly into the app, as well as message me directly any time you need.

How do I lose weight?
Well if you get on social media, there's a lot of answers to that question. A quick google search can send you to thousands of different "experts" on the issue.
But here's the deal- losing weight is simple. I need to burn more energy (calories) than I consume. BUT. Understand that losing weight and losing body fat are two different things. Ignoring the obvious health issues, I can just not eat and I will guarantee that I can lose weight. But that's not what anyone is really looking for is it? Most of the time when people say they want to "lost weight" they really mean, "I want to lose body fat/have more visible muscle/be more comfortable with what I see in the mirror and with how my clothes fit".
That is something else entirely. That now comes down to how we workout, and think about it more as training than working out. We also have to start factoring in EVERYTHING in our lives in order to not only reach those goals, but make them last in the long run: sleep, hydration, nutrition, recovery/flexibility, stress levels, and so much more. This is why you need a professional and someone that will be there for you to help with all of those little things.

What if I can't make it to a private session?
If you are paying per session, then there are a couple of things to know:
-It is on you to tell me AT LEAST 12 hours beforehand that you need to reschedule.
-If you cancel within that 12 hour window, we're all good. I get that life happens, but a schedule conflict on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
-If you no show, or forget about your appointment, you will be charged full price. If you are wanting to still get that workout in, then you must schedule another time and pay for that session also. This is my livelihood. Please be respectful of that.

Why do you program so much strength training?
Strength training, or resistance training, is the only known fitness method to both burn fat and increase muscle mass. There are hundreds of studies proving the importance of resistance training. In fact, it's so important, it has been shown to improve life span, posture, and quality of life. It's the only consistent training method used even in retirement homes!
And no. Picking up one weight will not turn you into The Hulk.
It takes years and year of specific training methods, diet and discipline to get to look like that. A lot of the people you see on the internet are athletes and sponsored people who lift and workout as their job! They workout hours upon hours during the day to get to that level. You lifting one hour 3-4 times a week, will most likely not make you the muscle bound behemoth you're either wanting to or afraid of becoming.
That being said. If your goal is to become a "ripped" or "jacked" monster (I hear those phrases a lot), understand that it takes TIME and discipline. We can get you there. But it may take months and months, if not years. As long as you're willing to put in the work, we can get you any goal you are wanting to accomplish.
